What results can I expect?
Generally you will start to see results after 3-6 weeks of use, however some people see results in as early as the first week. You may even break out more in the beginning as the Oeco™ system purges your skin, bringing all the trapped oil and impurities to the surface of your skin. Remember, there is no cure for acne; so continued use is required to keep your skin looking clear, healthy, and beautiful.
The system is making my skin dry. What can I do?
Often times with someone that has acne (even mild), the fluctuations in hormones and oil production will cause you not only to have acne, but to also go from having very oily skin to not so oily skin as opposed to an even, consistent level of oil on your skin.
So, what happens? The benzoyl peroxide, which kills the bacteria that causes breakouts, will dry up the excess oil. Then your skin, because of the ups and downs in the hormones and oil production, produces less oil and the benzoyl peroxide used daily can begin to over-dry your skin as you seem to have experienced.Some people who have experienced dryness, usually from the benzoyl peroxide in the acne treatment (step 2), have had great results just by reducing the use of the acne treatment to every other day or less. In addition, they may have also applied the Oil Control Lotion night cream (step 3) (or any other moisturizer you like) during the day to provide additional moisture. Those that have tried this slight change in the routine were still able to treat their breakouts and help prevent new ones, and overall, improve their skin tone for clear, healthy-looking skin.
